The concerts are scheduled each Saturday evening from 7:00-8:30 PM at Jaycee Park, 9th and Shepard Street in Morehead City. These performances are free and open to the public. | The Morehead City Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor the Morehead City 4th of July celebration on Friday, July 4th . The firework display will begin at approximately 9:15 PM from Sugarloaf Island. The popular Raleigh band, Boomerang will perform from 7:00-11:00 PM at Jaycee Park , 9th and Shepard Street. Vendors will be on hand to sell refreshments. The festivities will continue on Saturday, July 5th with Boomerang performing for the Concert Series from 7:00 – 8:30 PM at Jaycee Park.
