Rachel writes...
"I have been vacationing in Emerald Isle for about eight years . . . In this short time, I've seen friends, their children, and myself, grow. I've seen numerous dolphins and families of deer up close for the first time. I've experienced my favorite smell from the Atlantic ocean and taken numerous pictures of red sunsets. From all of these memories, it was no surprise to friends and family when we announced that in May of 2007, David and I would be married on the island . . . As predicted, the wedding was picture perfect. For me though, the highlight was sharing this island with all of those I love. The week leading up to the wedding was one of the best of our lives. My family, who is usually scattered all over the country, piled into a duplex so we could feel once again like we were family. We had cookouts every night. Seventy-year old men and women lost themselves on the beach and flew kites as though they were 10 again. In just one week, we created memories that will last a lifetime."
